Over 1,500 short-term jobs specially created for the middle-aged unemployed will be open for application from July 15 to 18.
They are part of the job opportunities offered by the employment programme announced by the Chief Executive last month.

They will help reinforce the cleansing of country parks and their surrounding areas. These vacancies, with a monthly salary of $6,000, will last for six months.
The remaining 475 vacancies are Temporary Project Assistants of the Housing Department. Their main duties are to help clean hygiene blackspots in housing estates and raise the awareness of estate residents in keeping the environment clean.
The monthly salary of these six-month vacancies is $5,500.
Application forms are available at all job centres and the Labour Department's website. Completed forms should be returned to job centres on or before July 18.
Moreover, about 200 vacancies requiring special skills will also be open for application in all job centres in a few days.
They include Project Clerk, Project Co-ordinator and Project Supervisor of the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department, and Temporary Drainage Inspector and Temporary Project Supervisor of the Housing Department.
