Correctional Services commissioner named

*

The Civil Service Bureau announced today the appointment of three officers to new posts.

 

Deputy Commissioner of Correctional Services Sin Yat-kin has been appointed Commissioner of Correctional Services from September 20, succeeding Kwok Leung-ming who will retire after almost 37 years of service.

 

Director of Drainage Services Lau Ka-keung will assume the post of Director of Highways on September 3, to succeed Wai Chi-sing who became Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) on June 16.

 

Project Manager (New Territories North & West) of the Civil Engineering & Development Department Chan Chi-chiu will assume the post of Director of Drainage Services on September 3, succeeding Lau Ka-keung.

 

The Secretary for the Civil Service Denise Yue said the appointees have proven leadership, administrative skills, and profound professional and broad operational experience.
