Rita Lau mourns broadcasting legend
*

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Rita Lau has expressed condolences over the death of veteran broadcaster Chung Wai-ming.

She said Mr Chung was a leading broadcaster of his generation, adding his consistently excellent performances earned him acclaim as the "King of Broadcasting".

"In his more than 50 years of broadcasting he participated in a variety of infotainment, educational and dramatised radio programmes which are loved by the people of Hong Kong.

"With his death, Hong Kong has lost an outstanding broadcasting talent. On behalf of the Commerce & Economic Development Bureau, I offer our deepest condolences to Mr Chung's family," Mrs Lau said.
