Appointments
*
Moses Cheng to head post-civil service work body
*

Moses Cheng has been appointed Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants, to succeed Justice Pang Kin-kee who will retire from the committee tomorrow, the Civil Service Bureau says.

Simon Ip and Marina Wong have also been re-appointed as members. All appointments will be for one year from tomorrow. Other serving members are Yeung Ka-sing and Nicky Lo.

Mr Cheng's rich experience in public services and sound legal background make him a suitable person to lead the advisory committee.

He is currently chairman of the Betting & Lotteries Commission, the Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations of the ICAC, the Education Commission and the Advisory Committee on Post-office Employment for Former Chief Executives & Politically Appointed Officials. He is also a Financial Reporting Council member and Advisory Committee on Corruption of the ICAC ex-officio member.

The Government thanked Justice Pang and member James Thompson for their service and contributions in the last six years.
