Chief Executive Donald Tsang has appointed 17 new non-official members and reappointed 52 incumbent non-official members and four official members to the Commission on Strategic Development for three years from July 1.

The 69 non-official members appointed to the commission in its new term are drawn from a broad cross-section of the community comprising mainly professionals, academics, politicians and personalities from the business, labour and media sectors.

The four official members are the Chief Secretary for Administration, the Financial Secretary, the Chief Executive's Office Director and the Central Policy Unit Head.
