CE to tour Jiangxi to promote trade
*

Chief Executive Donald Tsang will lead a group of government officials and local business leaders on a study tour to Jiangxi on January 19, to promote economic and trade co-operation between Hong Kong and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region.

 

During the visit to Jiangxi, Mr Tsang will attend the "Hong Kong-Jiangxi Business Co-operation Symposium" and a Jiangxi tourism seminar. He will also visit local enterprises and infrastructure facilities.

 

The Constitutional Affairs Bureau and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council are organising the Jiangxi group's visit. Secretary for Commerce, Industry & Technology Joseph Wong and Permanent Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Cherry Tse will accompany Mr Tsang.

 

The Chief Executive will return to Hong Kong on January 21. During his absence, Chief Secretary Rafael Hui will be the Acting Chief Executive.
