11 by-election nominations received

Eleven more people have submitted nominations for the May 1 Election Committee subsector by-elections, bringing the total to 26.

 

The nomination period ends April 15. The breakdown nominations by each subsector is: Industrial (First) (2),  Textiles & Garment (1), Accountancy (2), Architectural, Surveying & Planning (2), Labour (1) and Heung Yee Kuk (3).

 

Personal particulars of the nominees, including their name, gender, occupation and political affiliation, are available here.

 

Supplementary nominations for the six vacancies in the Religious Subsector will also run from April 9 to 15. The results of supplementary nominations will be gazetted after the nomination period.
