5 by-election nominations received
*

Five nominees handed in their nominations for the May 1 Election Committee subsector by-elections today, the first day of nominations. The nomination period will run until April 15.

 

The breakdown of nominations by each subsector is: Import & Export (1); Textiles & Garment (1); Accountancy (2); Hong Kong & Kowloon District Councils (1).

 

Personal particulars of the nominees, including their name, gender, occupation and political affiliation, are available here.

 

Supplementary nominations for the vacancies in the Religious Subsector by the religious bodies concerned are also running concurrently between April 9 and 15. The results of supplementary nominations will be published in the government gazette after the nomination period.
