Rates objections review complete
*

The Rating & Valuation Department has completed a review of  77,000 objections received from March 22 to May 31 this year against the new rateable values in the Valuation List and Government Rent Roll.

Anyone who lodged an objection during this period and has not yet received a Notice of Decision (Form R22A) should contact the Department's Customer Services Officer, Yvonne Chun, on 2150 8902.

Any alterations in rateable value as a result of the objections will take effect from April 1, 2003 and adjustments to the amount of rates and Government rent payable will be made in subsequent demand notes.
