*
Tung Chee Hwa & legislators

Good views: The Liberal Party's Selina Chow and James Tien discuss policy issues with Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa.

*

Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa met with legislators from the Democratic and Liberal Parties today to garner their views in preparation for his forthcoming Policy Address.

Mr Tung first met with Democratic Party Chairman Dr Yeung Sum and his colleagues, and exchanged views on a range of issues, including constitutional development, the economy, economic development, the management of public finances and education.

He then met Liberal Party Chairman James Tien and his fellow members who expressed their views on topics including improving Hong Kong's business environment, strengthening the role of advisory committees, the budget and tourism.

Mr Tung told the legislators that he would carefully consider their views and promised to keep in close touch with them.
