CE accords honours & awards to 315
*

The Chief Executive has accorded honours and awards to 315 people in this year's Honours List, including 20 Gold Bauhinia Star, 22 Silver Bauhinia Star and 44 Bronze Bauhinia Star recipients.

The honours and awards recognise their significant personal contribution to Hong Kong or their dedicated public and community service.

The presentation ceremony will be held later this year, tentatively in October.

Meanwhile, Bravery Medals will be awarded to six medical staff posthumously for their exemplary bravery and selfless commitment during the SARS epidemic.

Pending public consultation being undertaken by the Advisory Committee on the Promotion of the Fighting Spirit against SARS, the Government may consider further honours and awards for others.
