The Land Registry logged 7,121 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in November, down 1% compared with October and 7.4% year-on-year.

The total consideration for such agreements in November rose 0.9% from the previous month to $58.4 billion, representing an 8.9% year-on-year decrease.

Of the agreements, 5,588 were for residential units, amounting to a 2.2% decrease from October and a 11.3% drop from a year ago.

The total consideration for residential units was $51.7 billion, up 1.2% compared with October and 9.8% lower year-on-year.

There were 385,763 land register searches last month.
