A total lunar eclipse will occur in Hong Kong late on the night of September 7 to the early hours of September 8.

The lunar eclipse will begin at 11.26pm on September 7 and the entire process will end at 4.57am the following day.

It can be observed at places with an unobstructed view to the south and southwest if weather permits.
