Bazaar application guide updated
The Government today announced that the Resource Handbook for Bazaar Application has been updated to enable organisations and individuals interested in organising bazaars to have a better understanding of the application procedures and processes involved.
The handbook offers advice on how to find suitable venues and the application procedures for hiring a government venue, including those managed by the Housing Department/Housing Authority, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and the Lands Department.
Additionally, it provides a template for a bazaar proposal to enable organisations to plan the proposed activities in advance.
Apart from laying out information concerning licences, the approval required for organising common bazaar activities, and the application methods, the handbook covers points to note in the operation stage of the bazaar.
