Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung will depart for Shanghai on January 7 for a duty visit, the Government announced today.

During the stay, Mr Yeung will meet officials from the Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture & Tourism, and the Shanghai Administration of Sports.

Furthermore, he will attend the Shanghai-Hong Kong City-to-City Culture Conference jointly organised by Zuni Icosahedron and the Shanghai Cultural Research Centre, Institute of Literature, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.

His itinerary also includes visits to arts and cultural institutions, sports and tourism facilities, and the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Mr Yeung will return to Hong Kong on January 10. During his absence, Under Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Raistlin Lau will be Acting Secretary.
