Storm signal downgraded

The Hong Kong Observatory has downgraded the storm signal from No. 8 to No. 3, as typhoon Talim moves away from the city.
The No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal, issued at 6.40am today, was replaced by Strong Wind Signal No. 3 at 4.20pm.
The Hospital Authority said six men and three women had sought medical treatment at public hospitals due to typhoon-related injuries.
During the storm, the 1823 Government Call Centre received 55 reports of fallen trees, while the Drainage Services Department confirmed two cases of flooding.
The Home Affairs Department opened 29 temporary shelters, at which 112 people sought refuge.
