The Government announced today that the Housing Bureau will organise a Transitional Housing Open Day on July 15 to enhance the promotion of transitional housing projects to the public and make it easier for people to apply for such housing.

The open day will be held at the Henry G Leong Yaumatei Community Centre from 10.30am to 4pm.

A number of operating organisations will set up booths to introduce the living environment, community services, ancillary transport facilities and amenities of various transitional housing projects.

On-site applications will also be accepted.

Furthermore, round-trip shuttle buses to the transitional housing projects - United Court and Pok Oi Kong Ha Wai Village in Yuen Long, and "A Square" in Stanley - will be provided on the day.

As seats are limited, participants will need to pre-register on-site.
