The Government today announced the appointments of a new Permanent Secretary for Housing/Director of Housing, Commissioner for Transport, and Commissioner for the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The current Commissioner for Transport, Rosanna Law, will assume the post of Permanent Secretary for Housing/Director of Housing on August 15, succeeding Agnes Wong, who will proceed with pre-retirement leave.

Angela Lee, who is currently Deputy Secretary for Development (Works), will succeed Miss Law as Commissioner for Transport on August 28.

Deputy Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Maisie Chan will assume the post of Commissioner for the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area on July 10, succeeding Tommy Yuen, who is on pre-retirement leave.

Secretary for the Civil Service Ingrid Yeung said she has every confidence that Miss Law, Ms Chan and Ms Lee, all of whom are seasoned administrative officers with proven leadership and management skills, will continue to serve with professionalism in their new posts.

The civil service chief also thanked Agnes Wong and Tommy Yuen, who served the community for 34 years and 38 years respectively, and wished them both a fulfilling and happy retirement.
