The Lands Department today posted a notice to acquire land near Tan Kwai Tsuen, Yuen Long for public housing development.

The land, currently occupied by a grave with an area of about 13.5 sq m, will vest in the Government from April 13.

The Government will closely liaise with the affected parties to handle compensation matters.

The public housing development near Tan Kwai Tsuen, Yuen Long will provide about 7,000 flats upon completion, with the first batch of population intake expected in 2030-31.
