Quarantine scheme adds 2 hotels

The Government announced today that two hotels will be added to the eighth cycle of the Designated Quarantine Hotel (DQH) Scheme.

 

The additional hotels are Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong in Wan Chai and Panda Hotel in Tsuen Wan. They will start accepting bookings from 13 and 19 of July, providing about 1,500 additional rooms.

 

Bay Bridge Lifestyle Retreat and Prince Hotel, Hong Kong of this cycle will begin operation earlier on 15 and 25 of July and start accepting bookings from July 13 onwards. Meanwhile, Panda Hotel will commence operation earlier on July 25.

 

As such, the room supply in late July will increase by around 1,600. Coupled with the hotels announced today, there will be altogether 67 quarantine hotels under the eighth cycle of the DQH Scheme, providing around 25,500 rooms.
