Applied learning expo launched

The Education Bureau today launched the "Applied Learning Virtual Exhibition 2022" to promote courses for the 2022-24 cohort.

 

The online exhibition will run until August 31. Secondary school students, parents, principals and teachers are encouraged to visit to gain a better understanding of Applied Learning (ApL) courses for 2022-24.

     

Students can browse the information provided by all 10 course providers on more than 50 ApL courses, including course briefs, videos and students' works.

          

ApL is an elective subject in the senior secondary curriculum, covering six areas of studies including Creative Studies; Media & Communication; Business, Management & Law; Services; Applied Science, and Engineering & Production. In addition, there are Applied Learning Chinese courses for non-Chinese speaking students.

     

Nine new ApL courses have been developed in the 2022-24 cohort, which include Korean Language & Culture, Practical Translation (CHI-ENG), AI & Robotics and Jewellery Design in Digital Age.
