The Education Bureau today invited primary schools to join the second city-wide quiz competition on Chinese history and culture.

The competition comprises preliminary, semi-final and final stages, with Primary 4 to 6 students as target participants.

The preliminary stage will be held online in May and each primary school may nominate a minimum of 20 students to enrol.

The semi-final and final stages will be held and recorded at a television station between July and August and broadcast afterwards.

In addition to the champion, the first runner-up and second runner-up, the award categories include the 18 Districts Outstanding Achievement Award and the Schools with Greatest Participation Award. Winners will be presented trophies, certificates, book coupons and more.

The competition is open for enrolment until March 11.
