2.96m vaccine doses given
About 2,964,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,761,600 people receiving their first dose and around 1,203,200 getting their second dose.
Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 768,700 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 992,900 people have received the BioNTech one.
For the second dose, about 498,400 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 704,800 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.
About 8,000 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 2,000 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.
For the BioNTech vaccine, about 15,500 people received their first dose and about 5,100 people received their second dose.
The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine and the BioNTech one at community vaccination centres is about 96%.
As of 8pm, about 6,100 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 16,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.
As of midnight, 15 people were sent to hospitals.
