Govt reports 1 COVID-19 case

November 24, 2020

A Civil Aviation Department (CAD) outsourced workman has tested positive for COVID-19, the Government said today.

The individual worked at CAD Headquarters and performed support duties that did not require contact with the public.

He last performed his duties on November 21 and wore a face mask while at work. He also has no recent travel history.

The outsourced staff members working with the workman are asymptomatic and have been arranged to undergo COVID-19 testing.

The department said thorough cleaning and disinfection of the workplaces involved have been arranged.

It emphasised that it will maintain close contact with the Centre for Health Protection.

The department also reminded staff to pay attention to personal hygiene and seek medical advice promptly if feeling unwell.
