Twenty cultural ambassadors have been selected to bring performance arts to the community.

This year's Community Cultural Ambassador Scheme will feature performing arts projects designed for encouraging youth participation and staying strong under adversity as the theme.

The ambassadors, comprising local performing artists and groups, will present 570 events including music, dance, Chinese opera, theatre and multimedia art.

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department scheme has been held since 1999.
