The Chief Executive has re-appointed Eugene Chan as Chairman of the Radio Television Hong Kong Board of Advisors, the Government announced today.

Seven new members have been appointed. They are Dilys Chau, Linda Choy, Prof Anthony Fung, Shirley Loo, Tik Chi-yuen, Eva Wong and Wu Siu-ling.

The appointments are for two years from September 1.

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Edward Yau said: “I am grateful that Dr Chan and five serving members have agreed to continue serving on the board. 

"They have provided invaluable advice to the Director of Broadcasting and contributed positively towards RTHK's achievement of its public purposes and mission as set out in the charter of RTHK."

He also welcomed the new members and said their professional knowledge and rich social experience will contribute to the board’s work.

Mr Yau also thanked the outgoing members, Mimi Cheung, Leslie Ching, Robert Chua, Anna Hung, Douglas Lam, Lee Luen-fai, Carol Ma and Yeung Law for their contributions.
