Customs officers arrested two people and seized 32kg of methamphetamine worth $16.5 million in Yuen Long on May 11.

Officers raided a methamphetamine manufacturing and storage centre after stopping a 44-year-old man in Yuen Long.

Methamphetamine, manufacturing equipment and raw materials were found in his residence and he was arrested.

Officers then seized 60g of methamphetamine from another unit in Sheung Shui.

A 35-year-old woman in the unit was arrested.

The investigation is ongoing.
