Luxury expo to debut in HK

September 3, 2026

The Festival of Connoisseurs, an international flagship exhibition showcasing superyachts and premium lifestyles, will debut in Hong Kong in November with the support of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau (CEDB).

The event will feature premium lifestyle products – from superyachts and supercars to high-end jewellery – by bringing together leading international and Mainland brands. It will use an innovative, experiential curatorial approach to offer visitors a unique connoisseurship experience.

The Government has actively supported the development of the local convention and exhibition (C&E) industry through diverse measures. It has earmarked $100 million to attract large-scale, high-quality international exhibitions that bring fresh elements to Hong Kong, establishing the city as the premier platform for showcasing Mainland and international brands, drawing high-spending business visitors, and driving high-value-added economic activity.

The Festival of Connoisseurs is the first exhibition to receive backing from this funding initiative. The CEDB, in collaboration with venue operator AsiaWorld-Expo, has facilitated the staging of this international premium exhibition in Hong Kong.

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Algernon Yau attended the exhibition organiser's press conference today, stating that the C&E sector plays an important role in consolidating and enhancing Hong Kong's status as an international trade centre.

He added that the decision of Informa Markets – a world‑class exhibition organiser – to stage the event in Hong Kong is a strong testament to the city's robust C&E industry and favourable business environment. Premium exhibitions will help drive local consumption, tourism, professional services and related industries, while reinforcing Hong Kong's global leading position.

Mr Yau stressed that the Government will continue to proactively attract more major international exhibitions with diverse themes. By leveraging Hong Kong's unique advantage as a super-connector between the Mainland and the rest of the world, and building on the C&E industry's distinctive edge in brand building, the Government remains committed to developing the sector into a two-way platform that enables Mainland brands to go global while bringing international brands into the Mainland market.
