Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki will depart for Beijing this evening to attend the opening ceremony of the seventh Ethnic Minority Art Festival of China on August 28 and participate in a related meeting.

Mr Chan will return to Hong Kong on August 29. During his absence, Deputy Chief Secretary Cheuk Wing-hing will serve as Acting Chief Secretary.
