The Government announced in the Gazette today that polling for the 2026 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections to return elected members of the Committee's new term will be held on November 22.

The polling date was specified by the Chief Executive in accordance with section 16 of the Schedule to the Chief Executive Election Ordinance.

The nomination period for the elections will run from October 7 to October 20. The Chief Electoral Officer will publish a notice specifying the period and address for the submission of nomination forms, and will announce further details in due course.
