A total of 161 nomination forms for the 2025 Legislative Council General Election were received by Returning Officers at the close of the nomination period today.

There were 51 nominations received for the 10 geographical constituencies, 60 for the 28 functional constituencies, and 50 for the Election Committee constituency.

The Returning Officers will determine the order of names of candidates for their respective constituencies to appear on ballot papers and the allocation of the designated spots for the display of election advertisements by drawing of lots at the Kowloon Park Sports Centre tomorrow.

The Candidate Eligibility Review Committee will, within 14 days after the close of nominations, publish in the Gazette a notice of validly nominated candidates for each constituency.
