Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki will depart tomorrow morning for Beijing, where he will call on leaders of the State Council’s Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office.

Mr Chan will also attend an establishment ceremony for the Patriotic Education Base for Hong Kong & Macao Youth.

He will be joined in the capital by Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang.

The delegation will return to Hong Kong on Thursday afternoon.

In Mr Chan’s absence, Deputy Chief Secretary Cheuk Wing-hing will be Acting Chief Secretary. Under Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Clement Woo will delegate for Mr Tsang during the latter's absence.
