LCSD's National Day ballot outlined

September 12, 2024

Starting from September 14, individuals can apply via SmartPLAY to enjoy free use of most of the Leisure & Cultural Services Department (LCSD)’s fee-charging facilities on October 1, thereby sharing in the joy of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

The free sessions will be allocated via SmartPLAY, through a balloting process. Each user can submit a total of three choices in one application. Choices must be submitted by September 20.

Successful applicants will be notified via the SmartPLAY system by September 23. No confirmation is required by applicants.

Individuals who have not been allocated any free sessions via the ballot, or who do not apply for the ballot, can book the remaining free sessions via SmartPLAY on a first-come, first-served basis at a later stage.

Each individual will be limited to one free session on October 1.

No prior booking is required for public swimming pool facilities. Members of the public may line up at the entrances of swimming pools before the start of a session. Free admission is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
