The Major Sports Events Committee announced today that it has awarded “M” Mark status to the LI-NING Hong Kong Open Badminton Championships 2024, due to be held from tomorrow until Sunday.

The committee’s chairman, Wilfred Ng, said the event – part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 – can showcase Hong Kong’s vibrancy and offer a unique experience to citizens and tourists, while contributing to the city’s sports development and enhancing its status and reputation in the international sports arena.
