Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki will depart for Harbin tomorrow to attend the 2024 China Industrial Transfer & Development Matchmaking Activities (Heilongjiang). 

Apart from meeting leaders of Heilongjiang Province and Harbin City to talk about issues of mutual concern, Mr Chan also plans to discuss strengthening exchanges and co-operation in various areas.

The Chief Secretary will return to Hong Kong on September 2.

During his absence, Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung will be Acting Chief Secretary in the afternoon of August 30, while Deputy Chief Secretary Cheuk Wing-hing will be Acting Chief Secretary from August 31 to September 2.
