P1 allocation results to be mailed

May 30, 2024

This year's central allocation results for primary school places will be sent to parents by post on June 5 and 6.

The bureau said a total of 19,204 children took part in the allocation exercise, with 16,083 being allocated to one of their first three choices of schools. It added that the overall satisfaction rate is 92.2%.

If parents have not received a Primary 1 Registration Form or a mail collection notification card issued by Hongkong Post by June 7, they can collect a form at the designated collection centre from June 8 to 9.

Those who provided a mobile phone number on their Choice of Schools Form and indicated their consent to receive notification of relevant central allocation results on that phone number, will also receive an SMS with the results on June 5.

Additionally, parents who have already activated their POA e-Platform (ePOA) account through iAM Smart or iAM Smart+ can check the central allocation results for their children through the platform from 10am on June 5.

Parents must register with the school they are allocated from June 11 to 13 during school hours. Those who cannot proceed with the registration during this period should notify the relevant school in advance to make alternative arrangements.
