The Home Affairs Department today alerted the public to fraudulent WhatsApp messages purported to be sent by District Officers (DOs).

The department and DOs have no connection with the fraudulent messages which have been reported to Police.

Citizens are reminded to stay alert to suspicious messages and not to disclose any personal information.
