The Government announced today the extension of the tender invitation periods for sales of two lots for converting into quick charging stations for electric taxis (e-taxis) and electric public light buses (e-PLBs).

The Environment & Ecology Bureau said an extension of the tender invitation periods for three weeks will be provided given that tenderers may need more time to consider their tender submission issues.

The tender closing date for the lot at No. 8 Kai Fuk Road, Kowloon Bay will be on May 31, while that for Shan Mei Street, Sha Tin will be on June 21.

Details of the extension of the tender invitation will be published in the Government Gazette on April 26.

Meanwhile, the Government also announced the ceiling price adjustment mechanism for charging e-taxis and e-PLBs at designated quick charging stations.
