Secretary for Labour & Welfare Chris Sun called on Director-General of the Human Resources & Social Security Department of Guangdong Province Du Minqi during a visit to Guangzhou today.
 

Mr Sun exchanged views with Mr Du on talent attraction policy initiatives and invited relevant leaders of the province to attend the Global Talent Summit · Hong Kong, due to be held in Hong Kong on May 7 and 8.
 

Besides confirming the attendance arrangements for representatives of the nine municipalities in Guangdong, Mr Sun followed up on preparatory work prior to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration among the “9+2” cities in the Greater Bay Area at the Second Guangdong Hong Kong-Macao GBA High-quality Talent Development Conference, scheduled for May 8.
 

The CareerConnect Expo will also be staged on both days. It will allow international, local and regional strategic enterprises and partners to promote opportunities in Hong Kong and the Mainland, as well as development prospects of various sectors.
