The Housing Authority announced today that a new round of the Sale of Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Scheme (GSH) Flats will be open for applications from eligible Green Form applicants starting at 8am on March 28 until 7pm on April 17.

A total of 2,359 new GSH flats from Lai Yuet Court in Cheung Sha Wan, with saleable areas of about 26 sq m to about 60 sq m, will be put up for sale.

In addition, around 200 flats from Kai Chuen Court in Diamond Hill, Ko Wang Court in Yau Tong and Kam Pak Court in Ma On Shan, which were previously unsold or rescinded, will be included.

This round of sale also involves a new batch of recovered Tenants Purchase Scheme flats, but the final flat list will be drawn up around three months before the commencement of flat selection.

The authority expects that the ballot for GSH 2023 will be held in the second quarter, and flat selection will start from the third or fourth quarter.

Pursuant to the prevailing pricing mechanism, GSH flats will be sold at a discount greater than that in the preceding Home Ownership Scheme sale exercise. As the discount rate for Sale of Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2023 was 38%, the discount rate for all GSH flats offered under this sale exercise will be set at 48%.

The selling prices of Lai Yuet Court flats range from about $1,540,000 to about $4,610,000, the authority added.

Application forms and relevant information will be available on a designated website starting tomorrow.
