Peach blossom tree recycling set

February 6, 2024

The public and commercial and industrial organisations are urged to deliver peach blossom trees intended for disposal to designated locations from February 17 to 25 to help recover and recycle yard waste.

The Environmental Protection Department made the appeal today and added that decorations on the peach blossom trees should be removed before the trees are sent to designated locations, including the central collection point at Y·PARK, 11 GREEN@COMMUNITY recycling stations, six outlying islands transfer facilities and 37 public refuse collection points.

Additionally, from February 26 to March 2, the peach blossom trees can be delivered to Y·PARK directly from 9am to 6pm.

The collected trees will be turned into recyclable products at Y‧PARK to facilitate their reuse, recycling or upcycling them into decorative and wood art products and more.
