The Government today announced the appointments of the new directors of the Drainage Services Department and the Architectural Services Department.

Principal Government Engineer Ringo Mok will take up the post of Director of Drainage Services on December 1, succeeding Alice Pang who has proceeded on pre-retirement leave.

Deputy Director of Architectural Services Michael Li will succeed Edward Tse as Director of Architectural Services on December 30. Mr Tse will soon commence pre-retirement leave.

Secretary for the Civil Service Ingrid Yeung said the two appointees have proven leadership and management skills as well as profound professional knowledge.

“I am confident that they will be able to lead the respective departments to meet the challenges ahead and continue to deliver quality services to the community.”

The civil service chief also thanked Ms Pang and Mr Tse, who served in the civil service for 33 and 30 years respectively, and wished them a fulfilling and happy retirement.
