Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Prof Sun Dong will depart on a visit to Fujian this evening.

During his visit, Prof Sun will tour advanced manufacturing and new energy enterprises in Fuzhou and Ningde to learn more about the province's efforts in promoting innovation and technology, as well as new industrialisation.

He will also call on leaders of the Fujian Provincial Government and the Ningde Municipal Government.

Prof Sun will return to Hong Kong on November 28. During his absence, Under Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Lillian Cheong will be Acting Secretary.
