Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung today congratulated Hong Kong athlete Lau Chi-lung on winning gold in the Men’s Nanquan event at the 16th World Wushu Championships.

Mr Yeung said the gold medal was a reward for Mr Lau’s hard work and perseverance.

“We are thrilled and feel proud of him,” he said. “I hope he (will) reach new heights in the future.”
