ICT Awards winners lauded

The Hong Kong ICT Awards 2023 presentation ceremony was held today to recognise and promote outstanding local information and communications technology (ICT) inventions and applications.
Deputy Financial Secretary Michael Wong presented the Award of the Year to KRIP Limited while Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Prof Sun Dong presented Grand Award trophies to the winners of the eight categories.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Wong praised the winners for their groundbreaking innovations and initiatives which show their capability and enthusiasm of pushing the boundaries of excellence beyond limits.
He said the cutting-edge solutions and applications the winners have produced help create a positive impact on society and showcase Hong Kong as a global ICT hub.
Mr Wong noted that the Government is also making continuous efforts to adopt cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain and Web3 among others, to propel the development of Hong Kong into a smart city as well as expedite the development of the digital economy.
