The projected supply of private flats for the next three to four years is 107,000 units, 2,000 more than in the previous estimate.

The Housing Bureau today said there were about 18,000 unsold units in completed projects at the end of September.

There were also about 68,000 units under construction, excluding those pre-sold by developers, and around 20,000 units from disposed sites where construction may start at any time.

The number of flats under construction in the third quarter was 3,200, while 2,500 units were completed during the period.
