The Government today announced that Assistant Director of Home Affairs Thomas Wu will assume the post of District Officer (Wong Tai Sin) on September 3, succeeding Steve Wong.

Since joining the administrative service in 2002, Mr Wu has served in the Security Bureau, the then Education & Manpower Bureau, the Education Bureau, the Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Bureau, the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department, the then Food & Health Bureau and the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Tokyo.
