The Government announced today that the Chief Executive, politically-appointed officials and Executive Council members have updated their annual declarations of interests, which are available online for public inspection.

The declarations made by the Chief Executive and politically-appointed officials in accordance with the Code for Officials under the Political Appointment System have also been uploaded to the websites of the respective offices and bureaus.

According to the code, politically-appointed officials shall declare their investments and interests on appointment and annually thereafter.

The Chief Executive voluntarily observes the declaration arrangement. Likewise, ExCo members are required to declare their registrable interests on appointment and annually thereafter.
