In the afternoon, he met CPC Jiangmen Municipal Committee Standing Committee Member Li Huiwen as well as Jiangmen Vice Mayor and Jiangmen Municipal Public Security Bureau Director-General Feng Xiaogang to discuss issues including combatting cross-border crimes and illegal immigration, and explored co-operation in different fields.
Mr Tang introduced to them the new Greater Bay Area Emergency Response Operational Plan formulated by Hong Kong, which aims to enhance bay area cities’ capability of handling incidents together.
He also visited Gree Electric Appliances Inc’s headquarters in Zhuhai where he learnt about the technology-based enterprise’s development.
