After a three-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bun Scrambling Competition made a comeback last night, as 12 finalists climbed the tower to snatch as many buns as they could in three minutes.

Wong Ka-yan became the first three-time champion in the women's individual contest since 2016, winning the Queen of Queens title, while Chung Yuk-chuen became the men's champion for the first time.

Around 1,400 spectators witnessed the thrilling event which was the Bun Carnival's grand finale.

In addition, six local Cheung Chau organisations were invited to take part in the Bun Scrambling Invitation Relay. The three-member teams competed in the relay, which was held immediately after the individual competition.
